Connecticut Lyric Opera is pleased to announce its 12th annual season, featuring three full productions presented at five cities throughout Connecticut!
The season begins in November with Richard Strauss’ comic opera Der Rosenkavalier, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth year. Connecticut Lyric Opera will make its Hartford debut, with performances in New London, New Britain, Waterbury, and Middletown.
In February 2015 we will present Rossini’s beloved comedy The Barber of Seville.
To conclude the season we will present Puccini’s La bohème in May 2015.
As has been the case since our founding all operas will be co-produced with our partner the Connectiut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and Artistic Director Adrian Sylveen will conduct.
More information, including performance dates and locations is to be announced soon.
