Providing Connecticut and Northeast based singers a bridge between the academic and professional worlds, CLO’s Young Artist Program was created to give talented up-and-coming performers the chance to participate in mainstage productions in supporting or covering roles and in the chorus, as well as being showcased in their own productions, making their training and involvement an integral part of the OPERAtunities program itself.
Previous participants have gone on to sing with the Metropolitan Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Los Angeles Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and many other prestigious companies.
